Representative Ando, as head of the Japan National Wheelchair Handball Delegation and team doctor, accompanied the 3rd IHF Wheelchair Handball World Championship held in Cairo, Egypt, from September 16 to September 21, and returned to Japan on September 23.

The Japan national wheelchair handball team has assembled at Narita Airport and is now on its way to Cairo!

The Japanese team finished 5th out of 8 teams, but showed speed and skill on par with the world’s best, attracting a large crowd despite this being their first appearance in the tournament.
