On October 13, Representative Ando gave a lecture at Chiba University with Mr. Sanpei Ohama (NPO Smile Club) and Mr. Makoto Ohama (Smile Club, Para-Badminton player).
The themes in the morning were “Encounters with Sports” and in the afternoon “Community Development through Sports”.
I introduced a video of the “Taiyo no Ie (House of the Sun)” in Oita Prefecture, and asked the students to think about why the Paralympics were held in Japan in 1964, and what kind of society Dr. Yutaka Nakamura envisioned.
